On November 30, the company signed a contract for the launch of the project “Introduction of energy efficiency measures in Plast Commerce – 93 Ltd. to increase the company’s competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.” Through this initiative, the company aims to increase its competitiveness and achieve more sustainable development in the long run.
Part of the project is the purchase and implementation of new modern equipment – PVC granulator and mill for shredding waste products, as well as the implementation of an energy management system and ISO 50001 certification.
The planned activities in the long term will reduce energy costs for production, while expanding the existing production capacity of the company. In addition, the quality of the produced products will be increased and the quantity of discarded products will be reduced. The investment will lead to additional environmental benefits through an overall reduction in harmful carbon emissions as a result of the activities of Plast Commerce – 93.
The project lasts 18 months and is funded by the Operational Program Innovation and Competitiveness 2014 – 2020, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
